Timonium Foot and Ankle Center is a Baltimore County podiatry practice led by Dr. Jordan R. Stewart, DPM, who is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® (ABFAS). Since 2006, we’ve provided personalized, evidence-based foot and ankle care focused on accurate diagnosis, conservative treatment, and lasting results.
Every patient receives a thorough evaluation and a personalized treatment plan tailored to their diagnosis, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Every treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis. We recommend the least invasive treatment that’s appropriate for your condition, which may include activity modification, custom orthotics, physical therapy, medication, injections, or other non-surgical treatments before considering surgery.

Who are the doctors at Timonium Foot and Ankle Center?
Timonium Foot and Ankle Center was founded in 2006 by Dr. Jordan R. Stewart, DPM. In 2026, Dr. Yehonadav Kadosh, DPM, joined the practice as an associate. Both doctors share the same conservative-first, patient-focused philosophy, so you get consistent, thoughtful care no matter who you see.

Your first visit
What can I expect at my first visit?
During your first visit, we’ll review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, perform a comprehensive foot, ankle, and lower leg examination, and use digital X-rays or other imaging when appropriate to reach an accurate diagnosis.
Once we’ve identified the cause of your foot or ankle problem, we’ll explain your diagnosis, review all appropriate treatment options, and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your condition, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. We begin with the least invasive treatment that’s appropriate and recommend surgery only when it's the most appropriate treatment option.
We encourage questions because we believe you should understand your diagnosis and every treatment recommendation before making a decision. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your condition, your treatment plan, and the next steps in your recovery.
Please bring your insurance card, a list of your medications, any previous X-rays, MRI reports, or other imaging studies, and the shoes you wear most often—they often provide valuable clues about the cause of your symptoms.

Do you always recommend surgery?
No. Most foot and ankle conditions can be treated successfully without surgery. Our approach is to begin with conservative treatment whenever appropriate and recommend surgery only when it offers the best long-term outcome or when non-surgical treatment is unlikely to resolve the problem.
What foot and ankle conditions do you treat?
We diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including heel pain, plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, Achilles tendon injuries, ankle sprains, arthritis, diabetic foot conditions, peripheral neuropathy, sports injuries, fractures, ingrown toenails, fungal nails, plantar warts, and many other foot and ankle problems.
Is Timonium Foot and Ankle Center accepting new patients?
Yes. We welcome new patients of all ages and strive to provide timely appointments for both routine foot care and urgent foot or ankle injuries.
Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?
Most PPO plans allow you to see a podiatrist without a referral, while some HMO plans do require a referral. Medicare does not require a referrral. If you’re unsure, call our office and we’ll help you check.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We participate with Medicare and most major insurance plans. Because coverage varies by plan, we encourage you to contact our office before your appointment if you have questions about your benefits or whether we participate with your insurance.

Our office is located at 9622 Deereco Road in Timonium, Maryland, with convenient access from I-83 and I-695 and free on-site parking. We care for patients throughout Timonium, Towson, Lutherville, Cockeysville, Hunt Valley, Mays Chapel, Owings Mills, Pikesville, Reisterstown, Baltimore County, and the surrounding communities.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, photo identification, a list of your medications, and any relevant X-rays, MRI studies, or medical records. If you're being evaluated for foot pain, custom orthotics, or a walking problem, it's also helpful to bring the shoes you wear most often, as they can provide valuable clues about the cause of your symptoms.
Why is an accurate diagnosis so important?
Many foot and ankle conditions have similar symptoms but require very different treatments. Heel pain isn't always plantar fasciitis, numbness isn't always neuropathy, and a painful bump isn't always a bunion. At Timonium Foot and Ankle Center, every treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation to identify the underlying cause of your symptoms, so treatment is based on an accurate diagnosis rather than simply treating the pain.
Do you offer second opinions for foot or ankle surgery?
Yes. Many patients visit Timonium Foot and Ankle Center for a second opinion before deciding on surgery. We'll review your diagnosis, imaging, previous treatments, and treatment options, explain whether conservative care is still appropriate, and help you make an informed decision about your care.
