Jordan R. Stewart, DPM is a Maryland podiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot and ankle disorders by medical and surgical methods. A doctor of podiatric medicine is the only health care professional whose total training focuses on the foot, ankle, and related body systems.
Dr. Stewart received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park and completed his graduate studies at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a three year surgical residency at Mercy Medical Center and the University of Maryland School of Medicine, each in Baltimore. This included a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Stewart founded Timonium Foot and Ankle Center in 2006 as a practice that values the patient experience. He chooses to see less patients so he can spend more time with each of them.
Dr. Stewart is Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Board Certification is a voluntary process that required Dr. Stewart to undergo evaluation of his surgical cases by his peers and to pass several comprehensive exams that thoroughly demonstrate his expertise in his foot and ankle care. Dr. Stewart is on the Executive Board and is the immediate past President of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA). He is also a member of the APMA. He is actively involved in clinical research and also helps train podiatric surgical residents. Dr. Stewart is a thought leader who lectures to peers and students about a variety of topics related to the best practices in podiatry.
When Dr. Stewart is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and playing tennis.
