In this video, Dr. Jordan Stewart of the Timonium Foot and Ankle Center performs an Austin bunionectomy with screw fixation. A bunion is a boney prominence on the inside (medial) side of the foot. Bunions can be a significant source of foot pain and can make wearing shoes uncomfortable. In the video, Dr. Stewart cuts and realigns the bone and uses a screw to stabilize the bone to correct the bunion deformity.

Dr. Stewart is Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and on the Executive Board of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA). He is also a member of the APMA.
